Shauna Sexton Addresses Rumors That She Was The Reason For Ben’s Relapse – Check Out Her Reaction!

Following a comment from a fan on social media, the Playboy model, Shauna Sexton, defended herself against a troll online who suggested she played a significant role in Ben Affleck’s recent fall off the wagon. Previously, paparazzi spotted the 22-year-old with the Batman alum, 46, amid rumors that he and Lindsay Shookus split up after nearly a year of dating.

In an Instagram photo where Shauna is smiling at the camera in front of a glass of wine, Sexton took to the comment section to defend herself, admitting she’s made mistakes in the past, but also explaining that Ben is a grown man and does whatever he wants.

It all started when a commenter insinuated that she facilitated Ben getting “thrown into rehab.” However, the model claimed she never drank with or around him at all.

When Shauna denied the accusation, the commenter continued, bringing up her past charges with public intoxication, as well as getting caught with a fake ID when she was 17-years-old.

As it was previously reported, Affleck went back into a rehabilitation clinic on the 22nd of August, and Jennifer Garner, as well as a sober living coach, held an intervention at his home in the Pacific Palisades.

Sources at the time explained, “Ben has been fighting alcohol addiction a lot lately, and his recent breakup with Lindsay had a bit of an impact on him. Thankfully, he has Jennifer around; she’s really supportive of him and wants the best for him and their kids.”

The insider continued, “for Jen, it’s all about their kids, and she understands the importance of having a good father around, and wants Ben to be there for her children.”
