Lana Del Rey’s Latest Album Lust For Life
The singer officially dropped Lust for Life last week. The album includes collaborations with The Weeknd, Stevie Nicks, and other artists. It was first teased after Del Rey released the lead track of the album, Love, in February. A month later, a trailer for her fifth studio LP was uploaded to her VEVO account.
Prior to the official release of the album, the Video Games singer already dropped some tracks from the LP. Del Rey’s collaboration with The Weeknd, Lust for Life, was released on April 19. The song Coachella – Woodstock In My Mind followed on May 15. A couple of weeks ago, BBC Radio 1 aired Summer Bummer and Groupie Love.
Lana Del Rey said Lust for Life is for her fans. “I made my first 4 albums for me, but this one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed.” She also described the album as having a “retro sensibility with a futuristic flair.”

Meanwhile, Lust For Life is not the first team up for Lana Del Rey and Selena Gomez’s beau. In 2016, Del Rey performed on two songs on The Weeknd’s third studio album, Starboy. She provided backing vocals on Party Monster and was featured on Stargirl Interlude.
The most unforgettable for the West Coast singer was the day she recorded Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems with Stevie Nicks. Del Rey admitted to BBC that it was a career-defining moment for her. “I was definitely nervous … When she started singing, she told me she wanted to hear me sing something, too
“And then I really freaked out! I said to her over the mic, ‘I just sound so quiet compared to you.’ And she was like, ‘That’s ok, you can be my little echo!’ … That, as it was happening, was a career-defining moment for me,” Lana Del Rey said on recording with the rock legend.
