It is official that Justin Bieber canceled his Purpose tours, but a new controversy is sparking up. It almost seems as if the What Do You Meansinger is poking fun at his fans by promoting his tour merchandise even if it had already been canceled.
Justin Bieber Spotted Clad in Purpose Tour Merch
The 23-year-old singer had stirred a lot of fans when he was spotted in the celebrity-studded Japanese restaurant, Nobu, wearing tour merchandise from his canceled Purpose world tour. The singer was wearing a black T-shirt paired with Purpose tour shorts in the color yellow.
What seemed to anger fans even more was that on that Saturday he was supposed to be in Texas performing in front of fans in Arlington. It is to be noted that he canceled the remainder of his Purpose tour because he was reported to be very tired.
Tour Merch and What Scooter Had To Say
Scooter Braun, the pop star’s manager, had stated, “We are sorry…But a man’s soul and well-being I truly care about came first and we must all respect and honor that.” The Sorry hitmaker looks as if he does need some well-deserved rest and recreation after spending more than a year touring.
However, Bieber is not catching a break as he accidentally collided with a paparazzi member in his vehicle after he was stormed by the press after leaving a Beverly Hills church. Bieber was cooperative with the police nevertheless and showed genuine concern.
An eyewitness said, “When the photographers stopped flashing and knelt down to help their friend, that’s when Justin realized he hit someone and got out of the car to help.”
In other news, China had also banned the pop star from performing within its borders. The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture said in its statement, “Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer.” According to them, the singer is “badly behaved,” and they are just trying to purify the Chinese performance environment. He is not the only performer that they have issues with as Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus also join the list.
Justin Bieber seems to be apologetic about the tour cancellation of Purpose, in general. After speaking to a member of the paparazzi, Bieber also told a photographer, “Sorry for anybody who feels like, disappointed or betrayed.”
