Harry Styles Should Have His Own Talk Show! Takes Over Late Late Show with Epic Monologue

Harry Styles nailed it. He had delivered an epic monologue when he took over The Late Late Show this week. Styles also proven that he can have his own talk show.

In his week-long residency at James Corden’s show, Styles has delivered jokes to the delight of the studio and home audiences alike. He has poked fun at US President Donald Trump, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and Johnny Depp’s Pirates of the Caribbean.

“The big story of tonight is that Donald Trump shared secret information with the Russians last week. The good news for Trump is that he has been named employee of the month by Russia,” he told the audience who responded with cheers and laughter.

In Depp’s movie, Harry Styles said, “Hackers have stolen a copy of Pirates of the Caribbean, and they’re holding it for ransom. They could release this movie illegally – I guess you could say it’s a pirated video. They’re holding Pirates of the Caribbean for ransom. Sounds to me like they’re charging an arm and a peg.”

Styles continued, “If Disney pays this ransom, they could go into Johnny Debt. If people see this movie early, it would be a movie about a pirate ship with no sales. But kids can’t see the movie anyway because it’s rated ‘Arrrrgh.’”

Harry Styles Minus One Direction

Styles continued his monologue behind a desk with the “Side Effects May Include…” segment. Tuesday night’s “side effect” was about going solo. Styles hilariously listed down the challenges of having a solo career compared to having a band.

Not having his 1D bandmates, Styles said he needs to have the five personalities all by himself. The Sign of the Times singer said he has to be the cute, sulky, dangerous, talented, and fun, which he admitted being difficult to accomplish.

At the end, Harry Styles said the final side effect is, “Getting to take up the entire album cover with just a picture of you in a bubble bath, which is something you’ve been pitching unsuccessfully to the band for years.” He then held up a copy of his new album cover featuring him shirtless in a bathtub. Watch the clip below.

On Tuesday’s show, Styles also called in the Late Late Show host, James Corden. The host was dressed up as Harry Styles, complete with his version of the singer’s butterfly tattoo.  The 1D member also performed his new single, Carolina, PEOPLE.com noted.
