After the long wait, reports now claim that the highly anticipated Eminem new album is finally arriving later this year. This will be the first record of the rapper in four years following the release of his fifth installment, The Marshall Mathers LP in 2013.
Eminem To Release New Album This Autumn
There is no denying that dedicated hip-hop fans have been patiently waiting for the rapper’s next song collection. Finally, after all the rumors and speculations circling the web for years, a certain musically-inclined site claims that the new album will arrive this autumn while some sources assert that it will come out before 2017 ends.
The outlet noted that this year would be gigantic as several albums will be dropped on the market. Its spies revealed that people should expect the records to fall this autumn, including Eminem, Taylor Swift, and Sam Smith. Aside from the three stars in the music industry, there are numerous artists included in the list.
Since it remains unknown whether he will drop it this year, Mathers recently focused on being a producer. He signed on for a hip-hop film, Bodied – a satirical exploration of the world’s most artistically brutal sport: battle rapping. It features a line-up of artists, including Dizaster, Loaded Lux, Dumbfounded, Hollow Da Don, Calum Worthy, Anthony Micahel Hall, and Charlamagne Tha God.
Several Proofs that the Eminem New Album is Coming!
In October 2016, Marshall Mathers hit the world of music by storm when he announced on Twitter that he was working on his ninth studio album. But then, since his confirmation, no official update on the status of his most-awaited record has been released to the public. Last month, his fans received a taste of hope when The Defiant Ones director mentioned aEminem’s project.
Director Allen Hughes said, “Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album. So Dre’s still real active in music.” It was not only him who provided details regarding the upcoming record.
2 Chainz also revealed that he would collaborate with the Detroit rapper for the Eminem new album. He recalled, “It’s cap, you know what I mean? So you know, he’s like, ‘The boy wanna do something with you.’ And I’m like, Whatever.” With his remarks, many expect him to appear in the new song collection of the iconic hip-hop artist.
Meanwhile, apart from his ninth album, Eminem is also slated to perform in different music festivals – with theorists claiming that the rapper might drop some of his new tracks during the live performance. He will headline at the Reading and Leeds Festival in U.K. and the Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park in Scotland this month.
